A few answers to help you plan.

What is the maximum capacity of your vessels?

Per USCG law, a bareboat charter may have 1 Charterer (the renter) + 12 Passengers (13 total) before a hired crew. Hired Captains and Crew do not count toward the passenger limit.

For our 49-passenger vessels, the maximum capacity is 49 passengers plus crew.

For larger groups of 49–125 passengers, our 78-foot Amalfi accommodates up to 125 passengers plus crew.

Does a captain come with the boat?

For bareboat (1 renter/charterer plus 12 passengers) charters, after booking, we provide the Charterer with a confirmation email listing vetted Operators/Captains familiar with our vessels. You may also choose your own qualified Operator/Captain, provided their credentials are approved by us prior to your charter.

For our 49-passenger vessels, the captain and crew are provided by Knot My Boat Charters.

For our 125-passenger Amalfi, the captain and crew are also provided by Knot My Boat Charters.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to contact@knotmyboatcharters.com and include your name and charter date.

  • 30+ days prior to charter: Your deposit is non-refundable
  • 15–29 days prior: 50% of total charter is non-refundable
  • 14 days or fewer: 100% of total charter is non-refundable
What happens if there's bad weather?

To ensure guest safety, the Knot My Boat Charters team has the authority to deem whether weather conditions are "charterable" or "uncharterable." In the case that conditions are deemed uncharterable, our team will work with the charterer to temporarily postpone or reschedule your charter to a future date.
